I don't know why folks don't get more excited over this stuff for something like let's say... Photoshop. I'm a Photoshop novice, but when I did have to use it for a bit I'd have loved to have a bunch of commands at my thumbs like that

+1 mechanical keyboard line anyone? Basic no num pad with Cherry Browns or blues all the way up to a premium full sized backlit with LED display and Cherry Blacks or Reds

I don't think so. For example if you want to do horizontal scroll is better to just click on a mouse button than pressing control or shift on your keyboard. Also some programs have the wheel configured for zoom and if you want to scroll you have to use key combos.

Actions done with the mouse or highly related to the mouse (instant actions, etc.) I think is better to have all of them in the mouse.
