XFX non-reference card voltage problem

Hi there,
SO I have the non-reference XFX 6870, the HD-687A-ZDFC part code. There is no anyway to cranck up the core voltage, right? I have already tried all the ways I know... Just got the card yesterday and I thinking about going to return this crap...

Looks like in that thread, the realization was your card does not have the programmable Voltera chip on it. Seems like a lost cause with all that they tried in that thread, unless you want to search out a volt mod to use a pot to control the voltage.

Oh man I really was stolen =X because in the description of the store is a reference one... I wanted to avoid doing the mod as it would lose the guarantee...
