After a long time of being in the nvidia camp, I have decided to come back to the Radeon family. I was sick of my eco-9800gt (128bit EW).
Been having trouble installing Catalyst though. I first installed the card and tried to install Catalyst and it would get 1/4 of the way done and the screen went black forever. The HDD light was on for at least 25 minutes and then it just stopped.
Going to try again with the beta driver. I also didn't have the Nvidia drivers cleared off yet (doh!) when I tried the first time. They are now off and I will report back soon.

Keep that eco 9800gt. I have one and its perfect for amd getting physx with and amd card.

I could be wrond but it sounds like you didn't uninstall your nvidea drivers properly. I usually use the default uninstaller, with an after sweep with driversweeper in safe mode. Since I started doing that I havn't had any problems with nvidea or amd drivers.
Edit: I obviously didn't read the last line... If you had a clean uninstall you should have no problems and should be great.

I got it fixed. Took 5 minutes if that this time.
So you can mate an AMD card and an Nvidia card?? How does that work??

Also, what does the power % option do on AMD overdrive? Does it adjust the voltage on the card? I haven't seen over 62C~ on this card in stock form yet so it seems safe to over clock. (already 95mhz over stock as well)

Amd's powerplay or whatever it is called is amd's method of throttling the card I do believe. If your running that cool it shouldn't be a problem. If you get stuck on an overclock try raising it and you will probably get a little further.

Here is a tpu thread on it physx and mentions phsyx with amd.
