Hi.
I have Asus Maximus extreme X38 motherboard for about 4 yaers.
I have never experienced such kind of misfortune with this board:
Board will only boot with first and second slot populated with ram sticks(blue and white).
As soon as I insert ram into 3 or 4th slot - it's a no go.
board runs fine with 2 sticks in single channel.
No bios update or clearing Cmos helps.
Another question:
Is there any way to completely erase cmos data on this board.
I 've tried afudos /pc or /pcbn options while updating bios - no matter what I do OC profiles are kept intact.
Is there any solution to my situation
Thanks
