1155 Mounting For TRUE 120

Hi all,

I've just bought myself all the bits for a new PC, but I want to use my Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme in the new build. Promlem is, I don't have a mounting bracket for the new 1155 socket .... I have been looking online, but can't find one!!

Does anyone know where I can get one from in the UK?

on there site it doesnt show 1155/1156 just 1366 and 775 amd so i dont think they even make one

If I am unable to get one, I'll buy a new cooler.

Could anyone advise on a decent new one? It needs to be quiet! Also preferably lighter than the TRUE 120. Would like it to be under £30 too.

Does the base have the centering hole in the top? You could try and use the mount from a VenomousX I think? Have you tried to message Thermalright and ask? They always replied to my emails

May cost more than 10$? If so why not just get the one from the factory?

Thanks, they've got it at Scan here in the UK. But it's pre-order at the moment.

I think I might just buy a new cooler, something like the Arctic Freezer 7 or something. It's lighter and should be cool and quiet enough for my needs.

Also, the bolt-thru kit is almost as much money once postage is included!

You can always try to post an add in the BST section, never know what someone has in the drawer. I'd go with a Coolermaster 212, whatever the latest version is, if buying a new cooler.

Dwood at ocn should be able to do it for pretty cheap. He does a lot of this kinda work. Shipping may put it over $10
