<SOLVED>MSi GTX 660ti low Score?

so i got the msi 660ti and here is the result...kinda sad looking at those result..

my setup:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x3 720
MOBO: Asus M4A77 TD
RAM: 4gm
HDD:1x WD Black <- main
HDD2: 1x SAMSUNG Spin

The lower overall score is due to your CPU. The graphics score looks right where it should be.

really?

in my 3d mark vintage i just got
GPU test1: 62 fps
GPU test 2: 65 fps

i saw the review around it should be 80+?

Don't worry about the card. The CPU is the main problem.

I'm quite certain that whatever review you are basing this on did not use an older AMD CPU. The reason that is, is because they tend to slow down other components in a system resulting in a lower score and not showing the true potential of a GPU.

Overclocking the CPU would help a bit until you get a new one. I run my X3 720 black edition at 200*17 (3400MHz) at 1.35v with zero issues on a really crappy board. Just go into the BIOS and raise the CPU multiplier and CPU voltage.

Have you tried unlocking the 4th core on that PII. Have you over clocked your cpu at all? Like everyone has said so far.. Upgrading your CPU, MB and RAM will help out a lot. You are starving that 660ti card of CPU power. If you can't afford to upgrade now, and haven't overclocked or unlocked the 4th core.. You can try that to help your score until you can afford to upgrade. :toast:
