Thinking that mo' memory doesn't equal mo' problems, Gigabyte has went on and constructed a new Kepler-powered graphics card with 4 GB of onboard VRAM (double the usual amount), the GV-N670OC-4GD. This GeForce GTX 670 makes use of a WINDFORCE 3X 450W triple-fan/triple-slot cooling system, features an Ultra Durable VGA design and has its Base/Boost GPU clocks set to 980/1058 MHz (up from the stock 915/980 MHz).

The GV-N670OC-4GD also boasts 1344 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory interface, a memory clock of 6008 MHz, 3-way SLI support, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. The card is available for pre-order at 439 Euro.

Triple-bullshit!

1. Triple-slot... why...
2. 4GB on a card that won't use them properly as it can't manage multiple-screen 30+FPS gaming setups on it's own 80% of the time, and if you try SLi, see point 1.
3. 440 Euros WUT?

Triple-bullshit!
Your three points. I agree.
1. Triple-slot... why...
Because triple slot is the new black?
Because the majority of people only use a single card ?
Because the majority of SLI capable boards being sold have triple slot spacing between primary and secondary PCI-Ex16 slots?
Every Asus Z77 ( 14 of 14) same layout applies for P67 and Z68, Asus X79 (11 of 11), Gigabyte 40+ models of P67/Z68/Z77 and 5 of 5 X79, every ASRock P67/Z68/Z77/X79, every EVGA Z77/X79, and 3 of 4 P67/Z68 ATX boards. In fact it would be easier to list the boards that only have 2-slot spacing.
You'd have to go back to X58 or further back to see any appreciable number of 2-slot SLI cert'ed boards.
2. 4GB on a card that won't use them properly...
BFD. It's a marketing bullet point, it's no different to any number of GTX 680 vendors or Sapphire jamming 6GB onto a 7970 Vapor-X
3. 440 Euros WUT?
Seems about par for the course fior a 4GB card judging by the prices from the link given in the article

Now explain how could one use 3 or 4 of them in SLI? Because that's what this card is meant for.

Wow Gigabyte you are way too late on this one.

I do still love my windforce 670OC 2gb in two slot mode tho!

Uh, maybe the same way that people have always gotten around the issue. PCIe x16 risers and a suitable chassis (i.e. any chassis that has 10 expansion slots with a vent grille beneath (and suitable clearance to the PSU) or, 11 or 12 slots as standard fit out. Here's some examples since you seem unacquainted with the concept:
A76X, V2120, PC-80N, PC-Z70, any number of Mountain Mods and CaseLabs permutations - especially if you take into account GPU compute server tower chassis have 11 and 12 slot configs (and the rear I/O being ATX spec means that they are interchangeable with any other chassis with enough space to fit them)...pretty much a necessity when motherboards have the same number of expansion slots
Let me guess, Your next trolling argument will be that quad-SLI/CFX owners will happily pay for €1760 for cards but will balk at paying for a decent chassis to enclose them.

/Helping people get past the concept of doing anything other than sticking part A into slot B (The Ikea Syndrome) since forever
