Computer Won't Boot Up!

Hi guys,
Something very unusual happend today. My friend's computer was working perfectly and fine yesterday. However, today when he turned it on, the computer won't even respond. Pressing the power does nothing to turn on the computer. There is no response. I tried to see if anything came loose inside the computer but everything is intact. It should be intact because my friend never opens the inside of his computer. Can anyone please help?

PSU died or the mother board died or bad power switch.

You can disconnect the PSU connections then use a paper clip to trigger the PSU to see if the PSU fires up. That would eliminate if it is the PSU. If the PSU works reconnect to computer and disconnect the power switch button on the mother board then trip the mother board power on with that paper clip. If the computer fires up it is the switch. If it does nothing probably a bad mother board.

Green wire and any black wire.

sounds like power supply problem to me.
try isolating you the power supply. you will also have to see if there is no bloated capacitors in the motherboard and graphic card.

The fan on the PSU will spin a little bit and stop. And after that no more response. So is it only the PSU and not the motherboard that is dead?

Have you looked at the chart in the thread I linked and followed the Power Supply Failure section? Also, the fan should spin constantly when doing the paperclip test.
