Water Cooling

If any one could help me out! i want to put a liquid cooling system in my comp. my fan isnt kicking it enough. its load temp is like 71-75 ish if u have comments or advise let me no. my e-mail is: Saltinekraker2001@yahoo.com

hey

u can go home made if u want but its risky evin store made ones aar allways a chance of a leak

an at times heat sinks can do better then room temp water

now chilled water is a nuther story

fyi middle range air cooling can do better than water at the same price. get yourself an xp-90 or something like it and you will be set.

usen chilled water like i do air dosent stand a chance

the agean u can use chilled air to harder to maintain thow

i try to keep my water temps from 10-15c wich can be hard on thows 32c summer days but my 5000btu chiller does the job in like 20 min to cool from 30c to 10c an im good for 3-4 houres before i gota chill it agean

my water system holds about 12-15 us gal bit big but i it can allso keep uder 35c with chiller or fans running on a a64 3800+ @ 2.8gh

cooling rad for the water system was the main cold rad in a 10000btu air condishoner

i was useing a 1987 f150 v8 moter rad

Don't chicken out man... get the water cooling. Its good fun and looks sick. You have a high water flow which means low pressure so I wouldn't worry about leaks to much. As long as everything is done up tight ( not overtight) and you do a leak check first.

I had the TT big water 745 kit. I returned it three days later. Pump cracked, waterblock leaked onto my mobo, had to send it in for an rma. I thought it ruined my vid card. The tubing in the TT big water kit i had kinked easy. You need a big case for water cooling, unless your putting the rad outside. I would stay away from the TT kit imo.

btw i had a zalman 9700 and the tt kit only gave me about 6c - 8c diffrence. so i was getting a temp of around 20c with tt kit and 27c with zalman. not bad temps imo but not woth the extra $$.

Another thing, don't get a cpu waterblock with an ancrylic top. thats the way the tt is and as i said, it cracked.
