Consume too much power, no DX 11 and price is too high for used outdated cards. Just not worth it when you can get as stated by DarkOCean a 650Ti or 7770 for the same price new.

We shall see

I think a 650TI is faster than the 295?

From a horsepower brute force perspective in directx 9 and 10 the 295 should be a lot faster than a 650 Ti. I'll be using the card at 2560 * 1600 with little to none as far as FSAA goes. The pixel fill-rate and texel rate are so superior it shouldn't be even close. The major drawback is the amount of memory at 896. But for only $129.99 it will be a rocket ship albeit with some flaws to work around but for high resolution gaming driven by an I7 920 it will be super fun. I'll run some benches and try to post any results to show just how powerful this really is. I already have GTX 460s and 465s so for me this a very interesting experiment since my X58 motherboard does not support SLI. If you do a google search for GPUz images of the cards you will see on paper just how superior it is. The pixel fill-rate of a GTX 650ti is only about 15GPixels/sec where half a GTX 295 is already more than that at 16 GPixels/sec. Anyhow the proof is in the actual results and not on paper. Does fill-rate still matter? :toast:
