"Understated Overkill," Corsair's words. The company teased its biggest, most feature-rich case to date, the Obsidian 900D. Armed with space for XL-ATX motherboards, with enough room for four triple-slot graphics cards, up to sixteen 3.5/2.5-inch internal, and four 5.25-inch drive bays, two PSUs (redundant/auxiliary power), room for water cooling nearly every hot component, and a modular design, which allows you to create room for more of any of those components, the 900D is shaping up to be an aluminum monstrosity among Corsair's ranks. The company is poised to announce this case later this month, in the meantime, it released pictures and a video presentation.

The teaser video follows.

I love it! It looks like the side of the case is the best angle for viewing though, like putting your computer parts in a highly sophisticated display shelf lol.

That's in an 800D, 900D would allow for more cooling.

I feel like if your paying that price you might as well get a caselabs case. They are meant to be for watercooling, modular design, high grade thick aluminum, and a quality powdercoat.

Yay Linus!

I like the fact they have added more cable management space.
My 650D does not have quite enough space behind the back unless you have few cables or immaculate cable routing in behind the case and it appears the 800D may not have had enough either if loading the case with a lot of hardware.

As usual the Obsidian series looking the business.
Possibly the best looking cases out there without being too pricey.

Good but not the Best

For a "mortal" case, its acctualy a pretty good one. But if you are serious about making a PC, would not buy anything other than CaseLabs cases.
STH10 that i have just puts this to shame. I did spend 1200 Euros on it, and could have gone as low as 1000, because i wasnt sure at first what to get, but in the end, the hell with the money, the case is marvelous.

looks almost identical to the 800D except a tad bigger wich is just like a 650D..... how long are they going to milk this cow? not trying to flame but all it is is a reworked case. I like corsair as much as anyone else but a little originality goes a long way with me.

I can see what you are saying, but it's a classy design, originality kind of sounds like flashy/fugly to me.

They will be significantly less expensive than a Caselabs ... especially anywhere other than North America, where shipping a CL case can be hugely expensive.
It looks better than a Caselabs
It comes with proper air filters for rads and fans instead of just gaping holes like a Caselabs

I do see what you mean about that out of the US they are huge even in parts that makes sense and the fan filters which is the only problem for me. The caselabs SM8 though at the same size as the 900d is only $400 with window and front usb 3. The aesthetic is opinion based I really don't like the front plastic bezel and feet on the 900d while the caselabs is just squares and that nice powder coat but the real show that we can both agree on is the watercooling loop running inside
