Specs:
Hey guys. In this caseconstruction I have separated all the controls and the Bluray-Drive from the main case so that the maincase can have a clean look. I have build a case like this three times. You may use google to look for "exclaim kontrollmodul" and "exclaim le mans" if you are interested in those constructions. The third one has not been published because one detail of the construction is not finished. Well lets talk about "Smartgrid" now: The small case contains 4x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, a connector and a switch for external HDD, 50 LEDs and a switch for all LEDs (the switch gives a signal to a transistor in the main case to control the 80 LEDs build in there), a swich for bypassing the fan-control and buttons for power and reset. The length of the cable is 2m. Now about the main case: As you see on one of the last pictures I tried to unite metal and MDF to become a clean and solid unit. I also used a lot of screws to make the construction stable. The upper chamber contains a PSU and up to two SSDs. The lower chamber contains a three-path-fan-control and a HDD packed in a bitumenbox to make it silent. The middle chamber contains a mATX motherboard and the rest of the hardware. One last comment: In my point of view the practice of sleeving all cables is kind of square. And as not many cables are visible I just neglected the sleeving part.

Moin,

Benchmark Scores Just checked, the computer still works.
That S-ata cable junction to Blu-ray its a good solution,
and the minimalist design its nice too,
I wonder if the led´s in the blu drive doesn't affect your vision if it gets to closer to screen monitor at night or with lights off because their brightness.
For that you get 8/10.

Well the pictures are rotated back to be sideways when uploading. I tried to combine two upright photos in one picture but that does not work neither. What shall I do? I onlay have these pictures.

In that case I would but the desktop-case at the other end of the table. By the way - it has holes underneath which allow mounting it to the bottom of a table. Unfortunately I did not make any foto of that.

You are the second person who got a 10/10 from me in the case mod section. The fact that you fabricated the case from scratch is definitive +. Good job.
