No buffer in youtube 480p video in 360kb broadband line but in 512kb wimax

Guys.my frnd has a broadband line 360kb=45KB.With this line can easily see the youtube videos in 480p.just gets buffer for 1-3 sec and no buffer next 3-4 minitues.I have 512kb=64KB line where it is almost impossible for me to watch video in 360p.i usually see in 240p.I get this speed constant always.i m amazed to see it.

Do u guys,have any explanation of this problem?

There could be a range of factors. Like:
- What browser are you using?
- Do you have a sound processing device- external/USB sound card?
- Have you installed the most common pre-requisites for browsing- latest flash? Java? Silverlight? Shockwave?
- Are you running other internet dependant applications on the background?
- Antivirus real time protection? What AV program are you using?
- Could be you LAN card- have you installed drivers for it?

i have a 512kbps line as well and i cant view 360p either.
however certain videos are "peered" by my network and they download at 1MBps, so i can watch those well.

monitor his network download speed when he is watchign youtube. use a gadget like netwrok meter etc.

its not an issue. 360p should not be playable on a 512kbps connection

I have been having similar issues with the latest FireFox and I have a 20mb/s down and 2mb/s up speed...They did something really stupid with FireFox...try Chrome or Internet explorer...
