CRUCIAL M4 256GB 2.5' SATA III 7MM SSD

KINGSTON HYPER X 5K SERIES 240GB 2.5' SATA III SSD

They are all good, but if I had to choose I'd pick Crucial. They were/are subsidiary of Intel and learned a lot from this collaboration. Their SSDs have almost the same reliability as Intel. And when they release firmware it does actually help a lot. There you have my opinion.

SSD Roulette

I have a Crucial M4 128, and it is very reliable, but there are many faster drives out there. The neutron GTX is pretty fast, and although it's reliability is unproven because it's so new, it has a strong following with few complaints. The OCZ Vector seems to have DOA and early death problems, but not as bad as some of their past efforts. It comes down to what's more important to you, speed or data integrity. If you want both, Samsung's 840 Pro is only a little more expensive than the Corsair drive.

I picked up the Corsair Neutron GTX 240 not too long ago as my first SSD.
I'm liking it a great deal. The performance, better warranty and almost double the IOPS of the M4 sold me on it.

I have Kingston for my OS and the thing is amazing, I have yet to encounter any problems, same thing goes for my Samsung, its holding all my games and music and absooolutely no problems, file transfers between both are just AMAZING.

Id Say go with Samsung if its your first SSD.

Unless your only purpose is to run benchmarks or an intense datacenter, you won't notice much difference between the different SSD's especially if this is your first. Going from mechanical to solid state is a massive leap, choosing between current gen SSD's not so much.
