Need some advice about mbo selection, like is there a way to use i5 3470 graphics together with h77 mbo's as "second" video output resource .. so, when I'm on 2d enviroment i5 graphics enables, and when on 3d existing gtx560 enables? .. I do read about virtu mpv, but I'm not sure about motherboard support .. ga-h77-d3h would be enough? or z77 is better choice even not all z77 are virtu mpv supported .. suggestions?

thanks!

you would need a motherboard the supports LUID Vitru MVP
the Gigabyte board you linked does not have it

beware getting MVP to function correctly can be a pain
I would go with Z77 for better upgradablity and overclocking potential
LUCID support is up to the motherboard vendor to add or not to add it has nothing todo with the chipset used

ASRock Z77 Pro4-M Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Ne...

I was afraid of that, so in short where is benefit of having integrated graphics on cpu when I cant use it? .. only on some mbo's .. is there any chance to use that integrated graphics just for saving power when surfing, so dedicated card will be on some sort of standby?

thanks!

in My Opinion MVP is a waste of time and effort
there is no way to have switchable graphics without MVP honestly the power consumption difference isn't big enough to warrant spending the extra effort and money on it

After all I did take GA-H77M-D3H, but there's another issue .. as picture shows only one pci slot (sb audigy) avalaible is placed under graphic card, but it is way too close to the gtx560, should I be worried about graphic card cooling?

thanks!
