Well here is the situation, I'm getting a z77 MOBO. And I have a I5 2500k cpu. Been reading up on cpu differences, and it sounds like 3570k doesn't overclock as well as 2500k, performance there is probably a difference, features etc. But max overclocking a cold system, it doesn't like heavy voltages. Are there any precautions to consider on a z77 motherboard with a old 2500k. Would like to play around with motherboard oc'ing untill I can afford a new chip.
