Equipped with an 11.6-inch diagonal, Full HD, IPS anti-glare touchscreen display1, the Portege Z10t is an ideal choice for on-the-go professionals looking for a single, versatile device that offers more screen real estate than most tablets, but all the same ultra-responsive performance of a laptop.

The built in digitizer adds even more functionality for those who want to write and take notes on-screen. Ultra-slim, lightweight, encased in sleek style and dressed in durability with all the essential ports and security features, the Portege Z10t makes it easy to create, share or consume content anytime, anywhere. Powered by the latest Intel Core processors the device is equipped with all the business essential ports needed for a "dongle-free" experience, the Portege Z10t delivers excellent speed and performance - everything expected from a business-class Portege.

"The Portege Z10t is Toshiba's first computing device purpose-built from the ground up to deliver a more intuitive Windows 8 experience for business users," said Carl Pinto , vice president of marketing and product development, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Products Division. "The Detachable Ultrabook form factor helps business users achieve new levels of productivity by giving them the portability they need and the flexibility to get work done and easily share information on the go, while satisfying the durability, security, and manageability needs of corporate IT departments."

Amazing Display Provides the Ultimate Handwriting Experience
The Portege Z10t features an 11.6-inch diagonal IPS Full HD display with Corning Concore Glass and an anti-glare coating that also provides the most comfortable handwriting experience available on a touch device. With the included optimized pen and screen, writing on the Portege Z10t feels like writing on paper - perfect for note taking, drawing and signature capture. The device also features a secondary stylus in an integrated holder in the chassis of the display.

Built for Business with Durability, Security and Manageability in Mind
Reflecting on Toshiba's 10-year history building convertible PCs, the Portege Z10t features an Ultimate Silver casing crafted from a high-stiffness resin and a sturdy locking hinge mechanism that keeps the display soundly anchored when connected to the detachable keyboard. The detachable keyboard includes a touchpad with Windows 8 gesture support and Accupoint, and is LED backlit and spill-resistant.

Built for business, the Portege Z10t is equipped with Windows 8 Pro, however it also supports 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7. It can be configured with the latest Intel Core i5 or i7 processors that include Intel vPro technology, Active Management Technology (AMT) and Trusted Platform Module (TPM), ensuring that it can handle even the most demanding business tasks and can be easily managed and secured by IT departments. It also features fast start and resume times with Intel Rapid Start Technology, a speedy Solid State Drive3 (128GB or 256GB) and 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory. The device is Intel Wireless Display Ready5 and features HD front-facing and 3MP rear-facing cameras, ideal for virtual business meetings.

Lightweight and Dongle-free

I got the Acer Iconia w510 that is pretty similar but under $600.
But it has a smaller 10.1" screen and a much slower dual core atom processor.
