[WTB] Power supply

I'm looking for a psu to power my system the one I'm using now is going to my brother for his build.
I would like one as cheap as possible while still being a good one like the one I got till I get a new one.
I'm not getting another modular psu had a 1000w and it died on me within three months.

You think you need 750W, but if your current rig is any indication, you have no clue about what you really need.

In order to help you, we'll need to know your buying location, your new rig details (configuration), your budget and your preferences (quiet, efficient, (non)modular, etc.)

Past experiences don't count, if it was just one unit.

Your current rig draws about 400W full load on both CPU and GPU. Future upgrades? My GTX 465 draws more power than a GTX 660Ti does. The future is energy efficient.

That's crap. My 3820 with two 6870s overclocked under full load will never go above 500-watts load off the wall and I can tell you that SB-E is very hungry for power and the 6870s love the extra voltage when you OC them. There is no way that a single 5850 and a 930 is drawing that much power. You could get away with less. I would guess that your max system load is closer to 300-400 watts max with everything being stress tested (unrealistic load IMHO) and that a quality 550-watt would actually work if you weren't planning on doing crossfire or anything like that. A corsair or seasonic on a single 12v+ rail at about 550-watts should satisfy your current build as it stands right now in my personal opinion.

Grab a kill-a-watt, plug it in, and prove me wrong but I think you're overestimating the draw on your rig.

I agree with Aquinus, you don't need 750 watts unless your planning on crossfire or SLI. I have 750 watts because my last GPU configuration was over-clocked 5870 cards in crossfire paired with my OC'ed 2600k.

Didn't mean to lecture you, but you're number just sounded very wrong. I was just pointing out that you could get away with a smaller quality PSU considering that could save you money. Sorry for trying to help.
