how can i make my future system cheeper or better?

i am going to build a new computer at the end of summer '07. this is what i am planing to get so far form new egg.

it comes out to alot like 1200 bucks with shipping i was wondering if i could cheepen it up some how or make it better with out spending more money.

your best plan, would be to wait untill summer actual comes, i know its nice to make lists to show off what you have found and people find themselves realy getting into it, but the fact remains you gota wait so why spend the time now . just a tip

He's right...

while it is nice to dream, you are better off saving your $$$ until you have $1200-$1500 to spend on a decent machine and buy all the parts at once. If you do that then they will all have about the same time on warranty coverage ( depending on store/manuf.) and by that time prices on some of the items you listed will have come down some. and you'll be able to put in more ram or a better GPU that you couldn't afford now. If you are going to be a lemming and get vista, better get 2GB or RAM.
