I was thinking of overclocking the graphics card on my bro's laptop (IT'S AN "ANCIENT" PIECE OF SHITE, I'm getting his laptop soon) so I can get a higher FPS. Any suggestions?

You may can with AMD overdrive but I doubt it would make a huge difference

If this laptop came with the standard T6400...for $25 you can drop a T8300 in it, or perhaps a T9300 for $40 would be a tad better. This isn't that bad of a spec laptop for its day. Came with 4GB's of memory. A quick search on Youtube and it looks like it plays a little older games(Crysis Warhead, Bioshock etc) rather well. You might gain a few FPS from an OC, but I'd make sure your cooling is sufficient first.

This laptop is...better than nothing...:)

i dont think you can overclock the graphcis card with overdrive due to it being a laptop card i think you need modified drivers or an overclocking program like ati tool or afterburner.

I have this laptop, and it's pretty decent at playing older games on it own. I've tried overclocking it with MSI Afterburner, and while there were some improvements, they were very minor. Granted, I only tested it with World of Tanks. At stock, this laptop runs a bit hot, so if you're going to overclock it you'll have to find a way to keep it cool.
