New PC freezes/stutters during and after playing games

Hi guys, just signed up to get some support and didn't know where to put this so please move it if it needs moving.
So, a bit of back story. I bought a gaming computer from DinoPC with a couple of customized components, and it arrived around two or so weeks. Two days later, it developed issues with overheating. It was sent off and fixed, and arrived on Friday of last week. It worked fine on that Friday when I used it, and here comes my new problems.
The computer runs fine until I run a game for a while. So far, it's happened with Minecraft, Skyrim and Mass Effect 1, and did not happen whenever I used it before it began overheating. The problem is, I can play the game for a while no problem, but then it gets a bit weird. The frames drop to the point where the sound begins to sound robotic. After it happens once, it continues to happen, with very small breaks of gameplay in the middle. After shutting the game, I've found that this also happens when not playing. I've checked the temperature using CoreTemp and everything is 30C or below, but the issue remains.
If anyone can help me sort this, I'd be so grateful. I'm really at the end of my wits with this PC and this god awful company.

You need to fill in your system specs (in the control panel of the forum for your account) or post them in here so we know what we are looking at.

Without any prior knowledge and based on my own personal experience this could very likely be power supply related... not enough power on the 12v rail going to the graphics card.

Your power supply could be technically powerful enough but since they "fixed it" they could have put all of the components on a single 12v rail (perhaps to tidy the cabling for airflow) and this is now overloading it when you play a game etc and causing an issue.

Anyways for anyone here to help you, you need to post the specs of all the components so we can try and help

please fire up minecraft in a window, run coretemp and MSI afterburner at the same time and let us know what the maximum temperatures you see are. leave the game running for a while too, and turn off Vsync if its enabled (set the game to performance mode). this will make the system run hotter as a diagnostic.
