Best Thermal Compound ?

Looking to get some new Thermal Compound for my CPU Water Block but there are some many to choose from. i would like to know which is the best to use. Thx in advance

IC diamond 24 :roll:

srsly though i use Arctic MX-4 and it works great, but for a waterblock im sure other users with w/c could chime in better.

My old standard AS5, if i can find it Noctua NHT-1 OR ThermalRight chillFactor3... CoolLaboratory Liquid Ultra on bare die...

Not much of a difference between the top 25 or so brands TBH, as5 is my most often used and just started using the Liquid Ultra...

I currently use this

XIGMATEK PTI-G4512 thermal grease with gold grade thermal matrix filler particles

spreads easy on toast but taste awful :banghead:

i use Arctic cooling MX-4 and no problems at all except now since i use Spire Blue(worst)frost but i ordered a new MX-4 tube

thermal conductivity is near Arctic Silver 5 (not the same brand at all

) 8.4(MX-4) 9.0(AS5)

Acrtic Silver Alumina. Extremely cheap, hangs with the best in performance, never drys out, spreads very easily*, and is not electrically conductive in any way.

*When buying a compound this is the most important factor, IMO. Because getting a good thin spread will give better results, so the easier a compound spread the better the results. A compound can be super conductive, but if it is hard to spread it isn't worth it because getting good contact will be hard.

It's that cheap. I've used it and didn't care for it. MX2 is good but personally Id use AS5. I would have said to use ICD but even my retail bought tube has brought issues here so I'd stay away from that shit.
