hi guys, not shared anything for a while on the forums, as ive been out the loop a little with tech for a while.

this is nothing amazing or has the wow factor but thought i would share to get peoples opinions anyways.

upgraded from a phenom II 965 to an 8350 and also grabbed the asus sabertooth 990fx board in, also grabbed a ocz vertex 4 250gb for windows and installed windows 8

before........... with 2 single 120 rads at the top, i know not the best solution

after......... with 4 new corsair sp120's quiets in push and pull and xspc ex 240 rad

let em know your thoughts or opinons

The second picture looks sweet. But is that 1/2" hose your using?

Thats the 650d correct? what the hell are those long rubber looking things sticking a mile out of the front fan?

Id ditch the metal hose clamps and use some of those black plastic clamps that work like a zip tie.

Nice! :toast:

Any chance of moving your rad away from the mobo a bit?

Had to do that on my w/c build in a Fractal R4 to get clearance for the ram and the 8 pin connector....

yeah the 650d, oh they are just rubber gromits for holing the fan on, stop vibration.

and yes 1/2 tubing

i know plastic hose clamps look better but i just don't trust anything else the the clamps, they look ugly but u know they are nice and tight and never coming loose.

well not really the clearance on a 650 with thick rads is not the best. i could ditch the top fans (pull) but temps are really good and also these are the 120sp quiets versions so 1450 rpm. bit they are dead silent and kinda what i was going for.

Looks really good; as Alex said, loads better. I like the fans too. I just got 2 of those exact fans; they're sitting on my desk waiting to be put in.

Those upgrades were really nice :) I'm looking forward to your next upgrades!

The 2 I have will replace 2 EK fans, and I think they will both plug into my fan controller. If not, 1 will have to run off the mobo. I can't remember how it's all set right now; too much Casa Noble ;) :toast:

I'm totally in agreement with a cool quiet rig, completely. It's so nice to be able to relax next the pc, game, watch a movie, and not have to listen to blowers
Keep up the great work there :toast:

I would say to try running it with just the push fans and compare that to your temps to push/pull. Both my rads are push only; I used to have push/pull, but the gains weren't really worth it to me.

So give them both a shot and see how it goes.

One other thought: you should try to edit your posts and add in info or questions as opposed to double posting. The mods don't take too kindly to that sort of thing ;)
