The gamescom 2013 audience understands what AMD delivers: eye-catching visual experiences for amazing game titles, and this year is no exception as AMD is showcasing a wide variety of gaming demos. Of note, conference attendees will see AMD Radeon SKY graphics cloud gaming platform in action. AMD made a big splash at GDC 2013 showing off AMD Radeon SKY to great acclaim. Gamers experienced Deus Ex Human Revolution on a notebook and Far Cry 3 on a tablet, powered by AMD Radeon SKY 700 and streamed by CiiNOW, Inc.'s Cumulus technology from the cloud to the devices.

AMD Radeon SKY graphics offers a flexible cloud gaming technology solution that enables game developers and service providers to deliver world class gaming experiences to a wide variety of devices: tablets, PCs, smart TVs and mobile devices. At gamescom 2013, AMD (hall 10.1, stand B080) will showcase AMD Radeon SKY graphics powering games streamed by CiiNOW, Inc., including the latest game titles. AMD Radeon SKY graphics are built on the strength of award-winning Graphics Core Next - AMD's latest architecture designed from the ground up to intelligently manage workloads. With AMD Radeon SKY series, cloud gaming service providers can support up to 6 simultaneous HD game streams that scale from casual games to the graphically intense AAA titles.

According to Rob Haberman, CEO, CiiNOW, Inc., "AMD and CiiNOW are making gaming in the cloud a disruptive and visually compelling experience. Together, we enable instant, amazing gaming experiences on a wide variety of clients for game enthusiasts."

It's all about maximizing existing infrastructure and resources. AMD understands what gamers want in a great playing experience - great performance, amazing quality and virtually no latency. If you are attending gamescom, be sure to stop by the AMD booth and give cloud gaming a try. Let us know how it transforms your game play style.

I think this technology is pretty cool for non multiplayer games on the likes of tablets. Whomever's cloud graphics it is, nvidea or amd.

What they need to do is re-enter the SoC business. It sucks that they sold off Imageon to Qualcomm long ago.

Wont really matter in single player games. Multiplayer no.

It will matter for all of us people who also can notice the difference between 30 and 60+ fps... because any anomaly that can be sensed ruins the experience if you're used to play with zero latency super high framerate for years and then you're stuck in front of a 30fps higher latency game. People are gonna notice it...

I'll notice. I just wont care. I am playing on a tablet. Convenience. If I really wanted to play with performance I would go to my desktop. If I am on the bus and just want to pass the time with some dirt 3... I think this will work just fine.
