Despite all the flame I gave the Lorraine 40t I think its the better tank between that and the Leopard Prototype A, reason: autoloader. Sure the prot has a very good gun, but its a postwar pancake tank which needs too many conditions for it to shine. (actually, just one: it put it on the German plains). Poor gun depression, ammo rack gets damaged whenever a gun is pointed at it, slowish reload time against gokarts, and a poor finisher. The 40t is only good for one thing: flank, and it does its job very well.
I agree, it's armour is my great weak point, that's why I prefer it's US tier 9 equivilent, it does have armour, downside to that is only a 4 pot can but the interval between shots in the can is quicker than the frenchies.
