Today Overclockers UK have announced the ultra high end 8Pack systems, designed, built and created by the UK's number one overclocker, Ian "8Pack" Parry. The construction of an 8Pack PC is a long and arduous process resulting in the production of a truly bespoke extreme performance PC. The combination of premium hand selected components and years of world class experience allows 8Pack to create a machine of monumental standards. These systems are second to none, ultra high performance, truly bespoke and unlike anything else seen in the system integration market before. Tailored for the extreme consumer, who requires the very ultimate in performance technology combined with a unique craftsmanship only found in the finest of overclockers.

8Pack only uses the finest handpicked components; literally using a process of elimination over hundred of CPUs to find the absolute best overclocking chip for ultimate performance. With speed and stability guaranteed from the UK's number one overclocker, Overclockers UK is offering a system of unparallel performance, unlike anything ever seen before. Truly exclusive as every single 8 Pack system is built, tested, overclocked and benchmarked every step of the way by 8Pack himself to ensure the pinnacle of quality is maintained to Overclockers UK's militantly high standards.

Overclockers UK has a trio of 8Pack Edition Systems available upon launch; the Supernova, Polaris and Hypercube. All three have under gone the fully extensive 8Pack treatment and are utterly unique from one another. The Supernova system is the pinacle in modern computing, delivering performance on a supercomputer level. The Polaris system offers elite gaming performance and finally the Hypercube being a true pocket rocket with it's smaller size and near unlimited performance credentials.

All 8Packs systems are delivered by a specialised two man courier team and are home installed, continuing the pure elite theme all throughout. Stylised with bespoke 8Pack branding, 8Pack Welcome pack and a 24 month warranty managed by 8Pack himself.

Part of the 8Pack experience isn't just the system, it's the aftercare which puts you in direct contact with 8Pack for any questions or queries. A team will setup and make sure the computer is ready for the customer directly in their home, being delivered in a heavy duty flight case. Each 8Pack system comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by 8Pack will all the benchmarks ran along with its own unique serial plaque.

First we do a set of 800D. Up, down, up down, thats right. Try not to shake, you don't want to spill the watercooling inside. Good, now lets move on to Mountainmods ...

Well a quick glance and a little math later I'm seeing like $6000 in parts. I guess that's 5k in pounds? So, yeah, quite the mark up. Talking about the 9500 kit.

Literally any product that OCUK sells, often even when it's on "sale", can usually be found cheaper at one of their competitors.

Not really, well, no longer rather. They offer competitive prices for things on sale now imo

Whilst they are crazy expensive, a lot of money has obviously gone into R+D, marketing, testing and building these, I'm thinking 2-3 days work in just building, cable management, watercooling and leak testing, not too mention the kick back to 8 pack personally overclocking and tweaking each system, and I'm guessing he's not doing that out of the kindness of his heart, so while there might only be 6K worth of components they should be selling for at least 2-3k more than that when you factor in everything else. And since when has any high end product not carried a premium.

He's obviously not paid any attention to OCUK over the last 2 years, they sold a bunch of 670's a few weeks ago at £170. They were snapped up.

I am guessing they are referring to the magnum m8 as the hyper cube, but calling it a "pocket rocket" is somewhat misgiving.

My mrs said the same thing  :wtf:

I think it's likely referring to the fact that it's smaller in H + L (looks mid tower as opposed to full tower like the other 2) though it's kinda like 2 mid towers glued together side by side, so yea, it's not fitting in one's pocket

They do that for many components (GPU`s, CPU and RAM). Personally I wouldn't buy from them or anyone else who sells overclocked parts/systems unless the part I want isn't top of the line and/or not offered as overclocked by them, or you can forget about a good overclocking part. A sealed box these days means nothing, as all big sellers have plenty of new empty boxes, stickers and seals given to them by Partners etc. What do you think happens to all the hardware that is returned? The 14 day satisfaction guarantee :banghead:

Every system is personally made by 8Pack.
It takes 2 weeks (or more) to assemble and test the system.
This leads me to believe there is a waiting line, so your system might be outdated by the time you get it?

If they managed to sell 50 I think they are doing extremely well.

I was just looking at the quality, the finish isn't perfect.

like the cables ties on the sleeved cables, too many and too big. cable management on the polaris is shocking and they've used a tint on lense to cancel out the red motherboard. for advertisement pics id expect less dust lol I think it could of been slightly better tbh, but if they sell X amount the mark-up is staggering.

Anyone can get the same parts but what your paying for is the exclusivity and the fact you can call the dude , anyone who has build a PC for someone knows you can't get paid enough sometimes when they can call you .
