Logitech G710+ or Corsair K70?

Okay; suppose you've just finished building a $3000 rig, and dont have much left in the budget for peripherals. You have a monitor and the corsair k65, but not a suitable keyboard. Which one would you go for? The Logitech G710+ (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009C98NPY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2V5V9ICES2GZC&coliid=I2D8VXZVX9232J) with Cherry Black switches and 6 macro or the Corsair k70 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CD1FCAC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2V5V9ICES2GZC&coliid=I1IQBOX3GQXVS8) with Cherry Red?
They both are the same price, with similiar features. I have owned products from both brands; each product performing spectacularly. I will be using this keyboard for a combination of typing (full-time student) and gaming.

Note: The color scheme of my rig is black and red (I know, dated right.)

All advice will by greatly appreciated. :respect:

I think you should try those switches before making a choice.

I had the doubt between those two keyboards, ended up with the Corsair K70.

Also the G710+ doesn't have black switches, it has brown switches which in theory they are better suited for typing compared to the k70's reds.

Hmm, you probably meant M65, not K65 (another keyboard). I would pick a keyboard with MX Brown switches. Are macros important to you?

I haven't had a chance to try MX Red switches yet, but MX Black switches tire me out pretty quickly.

Using reds was weird at first for me, they are so light ... but I got used to it quickly. It's delightful now.

Corsair! Just cause cherry red switches are really good, I hear they are most awesome in FPS games but I can't tell. Also if I may suggest a keyboard to look at?
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008OQTGBQ/?tag=tec06d-20

Pros
great keyboard lots of people use it (lots of sc2 pros) SO durable its crazy when they said its built like a tank, they aren't joking
red cherry keys!
cheaper cause its been out longer probably

Neg
The letter wears off pretty quick or rather depending on the amount of use
the following keys are close together / \ next to the question mark and shift key (shift key is pretty small too)
no USB or audio stuff on it not a con for me but for some
You cant go wrong with the one I suggested or the corsair I hear the corsair k70 is really nice!

The K70, you can chose the switches you prefer. IMO browns are the best. Nice tactile feel for typing, and really good in gaming. Doesn't have the double tap issue that the blues are prone to have due to the actuation point.

thanks for all the advice guys; in the end i actually end up purchasing the corsair k95; because as the time of purchase, it actually dropped to 160$! i thinks its gone back up; but this keyboard is orgasmic! by far the best gaming / typing experience ive had on a mechanical keyboard.
