Exact Audio Copy.
I recommend using the LAME MP3 encoder or FLAC but sometimes FLAC is a bit big for portable use.

How to/use install LAME?

KierenD recommends using the LAME MP3 encoder or FLAC but sometimes FLAC is a bit big for portable use.

I use Exact Audio Copy in default mode, which rips into WAV, for quality listening, size isn't an issue with so much HDD space.
My question is: why bother with LAME and how do I add it to EAC?
