Can I run ssd then hybrid the hdd mixing the different sata ports used on my mobo?

Yes.
Do you only have 1 SATA III connector? If you use a SSHD, it should be connected to SATA III. SSHD or HDD does not matter. SSD on SATA III, SSHD on SATA III, HDD on SATA II or III. If you had to connect a SSHD to SATA II, it would not be the worst thing.

Ok found a deal on OCZ vector 256
In 25 plus years working n pc builds this install was by far the EASIEST!
Simple, plug in run software and done... OCZ does get a deduction off perfect fr making me enter a 64 character code to use cloning software? Why
So
I'll be running some speed tests
Glad I paid a little more for larger....

Thanks, I have two 7200 rpm ? Western, one installed.
When you say defrag and trim, do u mean on the new drive?
I'm really not clear on trim

I mean when you clone the drive to the SSD check that defrag is off for the SSD and trim is working on the SSD.

Sorry for the late reply.

Everything got set up perfectly, my OCZ 256 came with software that allows some great ease do install.
Trim etc... I did have a major error when I had to do an emergency shut off. Are Ssd more prone to errors with sudden power lose?
I had to re image the drive... Anyway I'm so impressed with the speed changes, I knew they would change but honestly was not expecting these levels of boot up quickness,!
Thanks all.... I ended up buying new, unopened private party Vector for 190$ no shipping

I would look at the Samsung 840 pro series 256gb and consider getting two of them to run in Raid 0. They are 230ish right now and are much better than the standard 840 model.

I would also recommend doing a fresh install of your OS and all your games, trying to use tools is spotty at best and a complete install only takes a couple hours as long as your internet connection is good and you have done it before. Since you won't be getting rid of your old drive you don't have to worry about losing data, you'll still be able to access it so you can back stuff up and then wipe that drive after the fact.

Just make sure you remove the current boot drive from the computer completely when you do the fresh install or you might end up messing up the install and having boot information on the wrong drive (I learned that lesson the hard way and did two installs in a weekend). Generally I remove all my HDDs and only connect the ones I'm installing to now, just to be safe and make it really easy to identify drives.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Only get R0 if you NEED it. Otherwise, I wouldnt bother. It likely will not improve boot times, and unless you are frequently manipulating large files, R0 just isnt worth the risk of having it IMO.

Cloning software works just fine. I wouldnt remotely call it 'spotty' personally.

The cloning software I used was easy and came free from OCZ and performed flawlessly
