Which 780 to get?

I'm particularly interested in getting a GTX 780, especially now that AMD announced its flagship, the 290x. Assuming the prices go down, which is the best version to get? I would prefer to get an OC'ed card like the Lightning or Classy w/ACX, but if there are others that are cheaper, I am sure it would be good, too.

Of course, depending on how the 290x performs and priced, I might just get that instead, LOL.

Thanks!

Here are my specs.

i5 2500k
Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
8GB DDR 1333 RAM
AMD 7970
120 SSD for boot
2TB HD for pics, movies, porn, etc (5400 RPM)
1TB dedicated for gaming. (7200 RPM)

The best by far right now is the Classified. With unofficial yet widely used software you can increase the voltage past Nvidia's tiny limits (from 1.2v to 1.35 i think). The Lightning is currently voltage crippled to NV's levels. If you want a card that is nearly guaranteed to match an overclocked Titan then the Classified is, in my opinion, the best choice.

Well I'd go for a card with after market cooling, so yes a Lightning or Windforce...

So yes pay the slight premium ;)

Classified of course, my vote too. I waited mine more than two months than I expected but didn't change mind.
Plus turbine on ATI5870 die during waiting, I payed 780 and suddenly I saw in Serbia in newspapers some guy sell new EVGA GTX580 stock fabric sealed in foil still, new completely.
For half price of new HD7970. And I bought and that GTX580, she saved, I played almost two months on here. Now I will keep her for backup card or physX.
To be honest I love mine little Fermi almost same as 780 Classy. Always liked that stock model without some pictures on card, special GTX580 Classified was my big wish.

Very simple

Just by searching Galaxy Geforce or Galaxy Hof. You must be new to English or search engines

The HOF is probably the best 780 by far before any foolish overvolting. The Lightning is throttled

i would say it like this icenote, if u ain't going to run custom waterloop get a aftermarket card, with a good cooler on and that's known for overclocking good, if u r going to run a custom waterloop look to see what card to get, ino that EK is making full cover blocks also for custom cards but that takes a little time sometimes.

but other then that, maybe MSI Lightning or a Asus DirectCUII card could do good.

if u want awesome guarantee and thing like that EVGA, they are known for backplates, custom waterblocks and accessories like high air flow brackets u can buy if it's not pre-installed...
