One reason I wouldn't get anything now is because they are constantly updating. Like planetside 2, I thought about buying a new gun. The best of the best one. I never did. 1 month later they released a new best of the best gun.

Just buying one with LTI feels like a bit of a cop out to me, I know a lot of people want that ship so they have an advantage or because they think it will be unavailable in game, But that's the fun of a game like this you have to have the goals and the ability to bend the rules to get that advantage. Be that looting a ship from a naval dockyard or preying on training UEE pilots in high sec space. Been able to start with it however temping it may be is something I have to be cautions about just for myself

So.. Some of you may have heard of Operation Pitchfork. Basically a bunch of folks (A LOT) are going to be invading Vanduul space at the end of the beta for all out apocalyptic insanity. Seems like a lot of fun right? Well, it should be.

I thought however, that after this war is done there are going to be a lot of valuable parts floating around the universe, so I decided to come up with "Operation: Mop & Bucket"

Only one place I've ever seen that term.

As for having the best ships, or whatever, the game is still along way off. Good balancing adjusted from feedback in the alpha and beta testing can easily remedy any problems that crop up from that sort of thing.

You don't get to keep any military ships. You get a gentle boot out of SQ42, perhaps a few credits and a bus ticket to the nearest space dock.

I may end up using my Avenger as well. I won't mind it too much if things were to go south and it gets destroyed. Lord knows there's still going to be Vanduul and pirates hanging around.

I think I am going to want to work towards a stealth cutlass. The pirate role to me sounds fun. Cutlass so far appears to be the best ship for that, with cargo and guns to boot. I would just have to add my own stealth upgrades. I wonder how long it will take to earn my way there.

The hanger module that will allow you to see and get in your ship. In December we will get the dogfighting module and the real fun begins.
