Yeah...I think it might actually be less stable now after the 667MB patch and/or the "server maintenance" yesterday.

I blame all the whiners most of whom likely did minimal troubleshooting for making them rush "fixes" :p

what is the difference between Standard and Digital Deluxe besides the price?

Deluxe has a couple Gold Battlepacks and some other extras and perks afaik. Just Google right quick. I don't think worth the cash but that's subjective.

picked up the standard one. Hopefully this game will not let me down. some say another game I have has been a horrible let down but I disagree. I hope this one does not let me and other down with the promises it makes. I am still waiting to be impressed.

The advertised apparent throughput speeds reported in that window can't be actually what Origin is downloading at if you really think about it...there is just no way it's faster than everything else all the time. I don't know *what* the deal is exactly but some people are like "It's downloading faster than I pay for!" Yeah...no it's not.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Theoretically I should get 9MB if my math is right, so.. there is some headroom there.

Well mine isn't dramatically higher than, say, Steam either but it always "faster" and claims it's hitting a meg or two faster than the latter has ever. I'm not the only one who thinks what it says can't be exactly right.

I always get the same dl speeds with origin as I do with steam. ~4MB/s with a 30mbps connection

Ok, interesting. Well it does seem to be "settling" down a bit lately in this regard at least on my connection. Mine only hit like 3MB max on BF4 which is about Steams max.

Godamnit crashed again first game today 5 mins in. Another freeze this time. Again, I was fine first 3 days. Yes I know it says they are "rolling out new servers".

I know the feeling. Even my favorite underdog game never had this much trouble. ^_^ Hopefully things will improve.

SP crashed lots for me, swapped VGAs, like 6 times, still crashed. dammit.

Tempted to put together an AMD rig with parts I got laying around and try THAT. The results might be interesting, but I hate OS installs.

I've had a total of 3 crashes. 1 prior to the update and 2 after it. However, the update did fix all my rubber banding/lag issues.
