Wait, wait, wait. Why would we care about how much the cards cost in the UK and Asia when we live in the US? Being a consumer in the North American market, and this being a website that's primarily targeting a North American Audience. I agree "AMD owns all price points from 550$ down to 250$"

This is an international forum, and as such everything within it is not biased towards the US :) You may want to stop thinking this forum is dedicated to the US, considering the creator is German.

the amount of ignorance and desperation displayed by AMD fanboys are simply baffling.

There's no need for comments like those, it makes these threads juvenile.

Ok, so I was unaware of this site's background but I believe I still have a point. Why would someone in one market care about what another pays in theirs?

I believe arterius2 was attempting to convey much the same sentiment. They were, after all, commenting on bullzoids assertion:
Add to that that AMD owns all price points from 550$ down to 250$.
The inference being the U.S. market.....I assume the prices are U.S. dollars since the R9-290X is at the $550 price point. Why should someone resident outside the U.S., and with limited options to buy in that market, have to accept a pricing structure that is irrelevant to their situation?
