I want to know how to get rid of the whistleing anoying bothersome sound my Asus HD5770 does when playing Grid and perhaps other games too like world of warcraft... I think the sound on the last one is a mutation of the one that grid causes.

I installed the Accelero S1 Rev2 on it and is either noiseless or very low noise from the fans so that's how I got to notice the whistle buzzing but even if that whistle is low volume it desconcentrates me and gets into my deep nerve giving me a small headache, is there a way to eliminate this whistle maybe upgrade the bios of the card? where is brandon? if it wasn't by this noise even boring games will be more relaxing, the biggest sound on my pc comes from my harddrives.

Coil whine cant be fixed with drivers or BIOS updates no :) you could replace the inductor, but I simply do not recommend it. You can accidentally bork the entire card with a slip of the solder or the wrong kind of inductor.

You can try the glue/epoxy, resin, or nail polish coating fix on the noisy one/s.

Coil noise

.

I already have acetone how can this liquid cover the sound? I read shanging the shape of the coil into a 8? like with a powertool? I think the glue makes more sense.

No don't change the shape or alter the coil, as it will alter or change it's properties, unless you know what you are doing and have the proper equipment to set it correctly.

Not acetone, it is a liquid and will evaporate.

You need something that will dampen the oscillations/vibrations to an inaudible frequency.
As I mentioned in my post #5.
