I saw posted somewhere about $25 too on Amazon. Man BF3 wasn't discounted that steep this early; my hunch is trying to counteract some of the bad news re. launch problems and suck in the guys on the fence waiting for it to be "fixed".

Yeah I might pick up Premium on sale this holiday.

BF3 didn't have Premium this early or a DLC on the way. It doesn't matter if they get you into the game for half price, because the up coming DLC promotes an additional purchase of Premium as well.

Played a few rounds on my PC last night and earlier today. I like the smaller game modes much more than Conquest. Everything ran fine, I still need to upgrade my PC though, my motherboard needs to be relaced, so I might jump to a newish AMD FX series.

Battlefield 4 its an epic GAME, graphics are the best!!! but .... ITS VEEEEEEEERY SHORT!!! WHYYYYY??!?!?!! , in 6 hours i complete the entire GAME!

Now all i have to do is try out the multiplayer experience and see how it goes

Nothing impressive in graphics department or in any area. Extremely huge size doesn't sit well with me either.

At least the single player (campaign) was better this time even though it was extremely short.

Actually, the maps in the new CoD are ridiculously big for the game. LOL it's still 6 v 6 with maps big enough to be semi Battlefieldish.

Well it's a good thing you enjoyed the SP a decent amount then. When people ask me for a shooter with a decent campaign, I almost never recommend the BF series (not that the campaigns are bad). It's just not where it's heart lies. 1942, Vietnam, and BF2 didn't even have single player campaigns at all. The series was born to be multiplayer, but it followed the trends and added SP as well. So yeah ,it's a good thing you enjoyed the SP, but it's just not what the series main focus is.

... and I guess that is why they never came under my radar. BFBC2 is where I started the BF journey.

That was a good game too. That is when I joined TPU and jumped on Teamspeak with a lot of these guys on the board.
I still play BFBC2 Multi-player once in awhile. Panama Canal or Heavy Metal.
So DayKnight I could use another old dude to game with. These youngsters kick my ass :roll:
