Is this a virus? (Sorry if I'm in the wrong subforum)

Hi guys,

Recently. my cpu usage was set constantly @ 100% despite not having the apps in the windows task manager add up to 100% task usage. It got so bad that the pc would freeze every couple of seconds. I reinstalled windows, making sure to format all my hard drives, delete my partitions, etc, but then I began having problems updating windows (i would have updates either 'hang' or fail outright). I deleted everything and started over once again, but no dice. So...I can't update windows 8. (legit copy)

Check if hardware is overheating, harddisk is not corrupted, cables are ok, etc.

(2): i understand your problem in your software when install your programme and software i see this problem 100% usage

your problem in your software and programm installed dont use you software get a fresh version

(3)only use new version software

i 2 day ago my cpu usage 100 % i change windows (OS) but im deleted all software and programmes all problem solve

Nothing is overheating (monitored with coretemp/msi afterburner)---idle (30cish load 65cish-CPU

Install any other windows or get backtrack and check with it. Funny issue though.

Test your drive. IS this the PC in your specs?

When you do a fresh install only have the OS drive attached. Disconnect all other drives

goto run,
type wsreset.exe and run it. then you should be able to update to windows 8.1

2:remove all old software in your HDD
3:get all software new version * dont use old software in your HDD old software of you is
depraved and depraved or expire
4:all problem has solved to easy

my dad had this problem on his pc, it was due to avast anti virus, changed to avg all was good. no idea why as avast works fine on my pc, just my 2 pence worth.

no need to reinstall windows 8. you need to refresh the pc / reset it.

i have this problem you if reset your pc you see again your cpu usage 100% again and again

best way only deleted all old and software in your HDD storage
