EVGA Announces 430 W and 500 W Power Supplies

EVGA today unveiled two new power supplies, one delivering 430 W and one 500 W. Targeting entry level systems, these units have a non-modular design, 80 PLUS certification (up to 80% efficiency), a single, high amperage 12V rail, active PFC, a low-noise 120 mm fan, and over voltage, under voltage, over current, over power, short circuit and over temperature protection.

EVGA's 430 W (100-W1-0430-KR) and 500 W (100-W1-0500-KR) are backed by a three-year warranty and are 'coming soon'.

Couldn't manage 80 PLUS Bronze? I hope they're cheap to compensate.

well that is cheap, they didn't seem too thrilled to show off the 12v on the 430w like with the 500w though. according to scan.co.uk the 430w has a 34a 12v, or 408w. not bad. though they also say its a white power supply :rolleyes:
