Best Ghosting software?

Hi guys,

As the title states im looking for the best ghosting software? I used to use Norton ghost many years ago but I have found that the newer versions seem to suck?

Anyway I got a partition on a customers computer I need to image/ghost and was wondering what's good to use these days?

I've switched to active@ disk image because Acronis installs too much junk into the system (services)

Can I piggy back this thread and ask if it's okay to ghost a 120GB SSD to a 256GB SSD? I require a tad more storage and I don't like the idea of re-installing full OS and software again.

Sure, the image created will take into account data on the drive, not the whole drive including all sectors. You can image a 20GB drive and stick it on a 2TB drive. I use FOG for work all the time.

Thanks for all of your suggestions, so far im happy with Acronis True Image. Seems to been doing the job for the moment.

Macrium Reflect Free edition is like Acronis but without all the crap I've found.

I like clonezilla I used clonezilla in the past with great success as well. Easy to follow the instruction
