CCC 13.12 Reporting as 13.9

So my CCC still says its software version is 13.9 after I installed 13.12. Is this normal because I have an HD5870 card and the newer features of 13.12 won't work with it or is this a fluke? Its been a while since I wanted to update drivers but I'm getting GPU related BSOD's and thought it time to update drivers.

No, it should definitely be reporting the latest version regardless of what card you have.

To check for the obvious, you did actually install13.12 and didn't click on the wrong file? Seriously, I've done it, so I'm not being funny with you.

If it's a driver glitch, try uninstalling then reinstalling and if that doesn't work try a driver cleaner (I forget which one as I never use them) and reinstall 13.12.

Ok so I uninstalled old driveres, used driver sweeper and reinstalled 13.12 and now its reporting the following for Driver Package Information.

13.251-131206a-165817C-ATI

Is that correct?

they forgot to add the string, just do it manually in the registry
