Hey guys, long time no see. I hope my mentors are still here.. Heh
Well I'm trying to build a somewhat budget computer.
The system specs you see on my profile is already gone, I sold it a year ago due to some financial need.
Now that I'm back and has a job and just recently promoted, I'm trying to get back into building a computer that would fit me nicely (not an overclocker but in due time probably). I'm not quite familiar with the new trends of mobo and procs here, but seeing that the AMD route fits my budget exactly. I'm looking at the following (and this is what is available in our local store):
AMD FX-8350 BE
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0
a stick of Crucial 4gb DDR3 1600mhz ram
a WD 500gb Cav Blue HDD Sata 3
Would I encounter any problems here with the board reading something about UEFI and what not? Or does the rev 4 come with a good BIOS?
Oh if I'm missing out on PSU and GPU, I will recycle what I have left.
A Cougar 750w modular psu and a GTX560Ti OC.
Thanks and regards to my pals here in TPU
Happy Holidays!
