Jumped in a little on Dragon Pass. It looks like my kind of map. Fantastic atmosphere, reminds me of Crysis 1 but I wish the sun would come up at some point.

what my laptop has. Is this just for their console APU ?

It will work on your laptop, if, and only if, your GPU in your APU uses GCN architecture. And I am pretty sure most APUs from AMD do use GCN.

I don't mind it, some of the changes to the levels are nice. But BC2 had more destruction and I liked it and it never had a fancy name for it. Though I won't complain, there is more desruction here than there was in BF3, so I'll take it.

I give a fuck because it can totally change a capture point and how you advance on it, or defend it. It can actually make defending it easier.
The rubble is a little harder to get hit in and gives you more hiding places. It isn't just a visual gimmick and all BFBC2 vets know that.
They did make it sound like it was going to be a lot bigger part of the game then it turned out to be.

I'm not a big fan of the China Rising maps either. They seem unfinished, other than Dragon Pass. I love the caves.. .but don't really care for the snipers perched in the super low res foliage on top of the mountains.

So I increased the spawn time of all vehicles on our server by 50% (vehicle spawn rate for the server is now 150% instead of the default 100%).

After playing a couple rounds it does not feel like I've always got some tank/lav/helo/etc always around though they seem to still spawn quickly. I think it plays better, but I only played Silk Road and Shanghai. I'd appreciate some feedback from anyone interested. For all I know, the setting may not actually work and I'm just experiencing a placebo effect.

About the rebalance, I always get concerned when they start doing this as they always end up screwing up something just to balance something else everyone considers op. For example, I'm concerned they'll nerf repair rate with the side effect being that it will unbalance being able to help a friendly tank in a tank battle.

I watched a video where someone suggested that holding the C flag (I think) is what you want to do because that's where the only tank spawns at on that map. Get that and you'll be the most powerful ground vehicle. Did it once and we ended up winning the round. While the infantry fight at D on that map is intense, I think the vehicle fight at C is crazy. I had 1 guy repairing me while I tried to take on 2 lavs and a maa not to mention the 2 or 3 engineers that kept shooting rockets at me.

Eh it's most coordination of a team on attacking/defending. That map has more than enough vehicle spawns, having 1 extra tank really won't matter much. Having so many rocks and bases on hills provides too many good opportunities for Slams to take out that extra tank anyways. I actually just played Altai on your server, wasn't a ton of people in there, but it went pretty smoothly.

That map has some good features as far as different types of battles. Set up for long range fighting too.
Good thing is not many places for snipers except maybe the rocks around the tower and above B. I had
a sweet knife kill above B. The guy came from C hauling ass on a motor cycle and bailed right before he
got to me instead of trying to run me over. He landed right in front of me face to face and I stabbed
him the second he planted his feet. One of those moments you wish you had shadow play running.

Man tonite I am lagging horrible on ever server regardless of my ping. I have an issue I have to take care of This may be what I have been noticing and it just keeps getting worse. Liek a 20's movie.

By all means, I agree.
But... my problem with all this is how EA/DICE presented it. Compared to that, it's pathetic mostly visual gimmick. If it did what I expected it to do, then I would be like OMGWOWYEAHMOAR!!!

I really like Levloution, yeah they could do more with it, but so awesome in paracel storm and siege of shanghai. Real shame they didn't include any in China Rising... especially as they raved about it so much originally.
