psu a tad small, I would get a 600 but the 500 would likely be ok too. I would also recommend wired keyboards and mouse. They have a slightly faster response.

ok i was thinking about 550w but more than that will cost me another 15$ and i was thinking about sitting in my room away from the pc to watch movies and play games on a 24" full HD monitor

As a pennyless guy I give you cheap advices :) Since you are a student you need to be money saving. I suggest that you go for APU series of AMD instead of the FX. Why? Because APU have good graphic card integrated to them if you buy the better one. Still doing it you will not Max all settings in Battlefield 4 as example but it will be plenty enough. So you cut on electricity you need for the whole system so can get a smaller psu than getting one with a graphic card. You can cut also the graphic card for now and save more money but still this setup can be added with graphic gard with no problems later when you get more money.

Board with all connectors you need like external sata, 6 usb, hdmi out for you tv, also hdmi In for plugging a bluray player on it if you want to transfer movies in computer saved as files maybe. It's even wireless with antennas included. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157464

The cpu is the last one they made it's the best and most powerfull in the APU series with a kickass graphic card for onboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113359

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231519 Lot of good reviews. Will come stock at 1600mhz for functionnality and have plenty of room to be overclocked just by setting in the bios the frequency of the ram to 2133.

which processor you'll suggest?
your idea is good but i want to build a good gaming rig that can play my games on ultra with aa without any problem.
i'm thinking to build it now for experience and after this i'll save money for something like this( http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sam008/saved/3rWZ ).

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
the psu looks fine to me but i would get 8gb instead of 4gb RAM

also you might take a look at the R9 270 (non X) i have a MSI R9 270 Gaming OC 2gb (1050/1500 core/mem instead of 955/1400) it perform almost same as a X version once overclocked(ofc you can OC more a 270X but the price difference between the 2 make my solution quite viable) and only a 6pin PciE needed, and they are way enough for gaming at HD resolutions

i have a 600w psu but ~500w could be enough too a 850w would be overkill, the thing is most of the manufacturer exagerate the PSU recommendation

i had a SLI of GTX580 Matrix (2x8pin) along with a i7-920 @4.4ghz (125w on stock clock 240w oc estimation ) on a Rampage III Extreme with a 700w 80+ gold psu (Asus recommended 700w for one 580 Matrix alone) but i never ran into any instability, no matter what i did with the rig.

the 750K + A88X is also viable for cpu mobo

6300 setup with a 270X assuming 4 120mm fan for the case
Minimum PSU Wattage:326 W
Recommended
PSU Wattage:
*

6300 setup with a 270 same fan pattern
Minimum PSU Wattage:315 W
Recommended
PSU Wattage:

750k same setup 1
Minimum PSU Wattage:330 W
Recommended
PSU Wattage:

750k setup2
Minimum PSU Wattage:319 W

PSU Wattage:

my actual build
Minimum PSU Wattage:311 W

ofc http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine give a min and recommended but you should always go a bit above but it can serve as a reference

for instance the i7 SLI setup was
Minimum PSU Wattage:710 W
Recommended

I would recommend this route too, except if you are an engineering student who happens to require boatloads of power. The time saved by buying a more capable processor is well worth the money saved.

Funny how now people are automatically guessing that students members are all engineers! :p

ya 850w is overkill now but can be use later in i7+cf 280x build. if he has 700$ now and buy psu that can be used in future he will need to save less till he get that i7+cf 280x that he wish.

Since you are a student you need to be money saving. .

I just don't get that. I'm a college student myself, and because of tuition reimbursement, I've never had more money in my pocket.

Anyway, you can get a copy of Windows though your school right?

not everyone has tuition reimbursement, that's why.

sam008 are you near a microcenter? www.microcenter.com

You can buy cpu cheaper there than online.

Are you willing to buy used parts? an i5 2xxx would be a great purchase from ebay.

Heres a list of parts and you could buy a i5 2500, 2500k, or 2400, usually $130-150 on ebay.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2CdVx

Might have to stretch budget for this but it would be worth it. If windows is free, remove it lol.

I would also suggest that MSI GAMING 270 as it has a great cooler, is low cost, and performs very well. I was looking at a few 270Xs for my rigs and saw that the 270 can be just as powerful as them. I am not sure how familiar you are with OC but that is a great way to squeeze more from you dollar performance wise

You double posted ....and I edited the thread so you can go up and see suggestion.

Originally your Motherboard + CPU + Memory + Graphic card costed you together 467.95$. Now by doing the suggestion you pay only 374.97$. You get better motherboard, better memory, a powerful APU (cpu) thatis quad core 3.7 gigs turbo to 4.0 gigs and possibility to get a graphic card separated later. Saving nearly 100$ AND you get free Battlefield 4 game when you buy the cpu. thanks but i live in india and right now i'm thinking about this one http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sam008/saved/3uo0 and for this i'll pay more than 1100$.

well thanks for your advice but i am not an engineering student.
