When i access the General Nonsense forum i get logged out? And my login isn't accepted there... it's still part of the same forum isn't it?

Thank you both. Registering now... and it says "Username is valid and not in use." it doesn't even say: no we've already got someone with that name! LOL so it's really a seperate database.

In THIS POST are many false "mailto" shortcuts scattered around in the text. Why??? How come??? Conversion bug??? Or poster error, but how???

Yes, it looks like they system parsed any entries in that post which contained the "@" symbol and converted them to "mailto" links if it thought they were valid.

But why then would it think 2x R9 290x@1110mhz gpu is a valid email address but 2x MSI GTX780@1124mhz is not? It's a weird bug, and very annoying if you see posts discussing computerparts's clockspeeds (probably a few hundredthousands on these forums) screwed up like that.

And by the way i would like to add: the function responsible for that, should be disabled in posts anyway.
(The function that makes (what it reads as) email adresses shortcuts to the default emailprogram).
Because no-one should post any email address in any post on any forum. Not posting them, and disabled function are both default anti-spam measures. And i think everybody knows that and no-one posts email adresses anyway, so the function is 100% useless and unwanted and should be set to disabled.

there is no setting to control parsing of links, it's always enabled

When on my SG3 I am unable to view a table (the whole table) in a post. Can't scoll over. I am not using the mobile app...
I am using the browser that came with the phone. It doesn't help if the phone is in landscape or portrait viewing...

I didn't see any reply to this, but I did skim it.

I have this issue also on my GS4 using Chrome app, but it's the same on the default browser. I can't view the entire table, no matter what screen orientation; I can only see the first like 2.5 boxes

Am I missing something?

But it creates links! It appears to create links, where there originally were none on the old forum-version. So that sucks then.

I hope it does not create new links each time someone uses the @ anymore. I have not checked this yet.

This post could serve as a check. 2check@check. And why would the software do such a horrible@thing

Because last days I'm updating my RIG details in "System Specs", I've noticed new bug that causes my profile to lost it's data. Everytime in "Personal Details" following fields gets reseted:

Gender
Show day and month of birth
Show year of birth
Location
Occupation

and etcs.

This seems to be working for me. Can you describe exact steps to reproduce?

I just go in "System specs", change what I need to change and click "Save changes". After this when I go to "Personal details" - all of my fields are empty.

At the time when my location info disappeared, I did not connect that I'd had change my system specs to reflect my new video card, too.

There's a lot of posts from the old forum software that have the noparse tag. Maybe should make the two synonymous for backwards compatibility? Or could replace all instances of noparse in the DB with plain.
