I don't have any experience with this board, a quick search shows a number of people having hardware problems on Newegg, I don't know to what extent they are or if it's just a few but it's worth having a look.

Or he could just post on a computer forum where people have knowledge and experience in these kind of things. This is a computer website. If he was on another forum for consoles or cars, I'd understand if he was told to Google something because there's a lower number of experience/knowledge in that field compared to a forum specifically for computing. Instead of telling him to Google, don't post at all or at least find something useful to say.
