Not true, a page or so back people were talking about the other modes they like. Domination was the big hit. Team Death Match is teh only mode with the audio bug is what Alex was getting at.

Not true at all. You were berated for thinking Metro was the greatest map for rush, or that Metro was a good map in general. Pay attention, Son.

And Idaho was right, the last two pages have been about the audio bug only happening in TDM.

Last patch ! Gonna get my service star with the MX4 and then play Domination with the shottie for awhile and try to get back to .50 at least. I have a hard time staying off Conquest because I have had a pretty good time with the Stinger. I don't get a shit load of kills, but shoot down a hellva lot of choppers. By doing this I can ground opposing air support for the team and it makes me feel all warm inside Though I get hammered while aiming up at the sky by infantry. It is all worth it to keep my team mates safe from Helicopters. I'll sacrifice myself any day for my buddies Plus I just like watching them menaces blow up.

Some guy on OCN just said his TDM audio fixed itself after the first round. I guess most don't stick around for a second which is understandable.

yes I get tons of Stinger hits but few kills compared to BF3. Gives me points which is a nice change and helps the team and all but damn my KDR needs the help right now.

Ha, have you seen mine? I'm taking a beating, but having fun is more important. Yeah the audio bug only lasts the first round then goes away. If you go in early in the round though you have a whole round of no sound, so using sound as a directional tool is history until the next round.

I personally don't like Rush but don't have any problem with game modes other than TDM, for the record, and that one just cause it's exactly like 100 other shooters (8 of which are COD games from the last 5 years) with the possible exception of a huge variety of guns to choose from.

I used to be exclusively a TDM junkie and did very little Conquest in BF3. Now I find that I'm playing a heck of a lot of Domination, some TDM, and some Conquest in BF4. Maybe I'll try out some Rush later this week for a change.

Yeah I'm gonna mix it up a little more myself and try some Domination and maybe spend some time with Obliteration (even though I not an "inf-only" guy generally and did not much care for Close Quarters…but just not as good with the vehicles in BF4 somehow so far) with perhaps even with some hardcore sprinkled in.

There are vehicles in Obliteration, all the matches I've played are on a full sized map. It works well that way because if you can get your tank or heli next to the bomb carrier you can give him a lift and then protect the node while it's armed.

Really, I guess I better expand my horizons too. I had no idea there were vehicles on those modes. That sounds like a Capture the exploding flag

Yeah, it is, but the other team is trying to capture the same bomb so the action gets pretty intense. It's a real good time for all.

You can think of it like that as it's very similar to CTF but with the flag being neutral. I really like the U Obliteration server mostly because of the 60 minute timer. Sure a lot of times is just goes quick (less then 15 mins), but those few that go the full 60 are so intense. I really miss the rounds with no timer. Have a few matches that went 90+ minutes. Long games, but the points were crazy high and most of them went so long because one team would go down 3 to 1 and then the team down would turn it around suddenly and come back for the win.

If you go on unranked servers you can try any gun thats locked and they all have a few scopes.

went to an empty unranked and was shooting out windows with dao, f2000 and gol

f2000 has its own scope too.
dao take like 15 seconds to reload lol

Me too, but TDM in BF3 was a good tool. One for getting used to a gun and Two to get an unlock faster.
I haven't found a map I like for TDM on BF4 yet. Zavod is OK. Hate Locker ! Just like Metro it is a Nade

I just wish DICE would fix the problem of the server going custom (instead of normal or hardcore) if you set the ticket count higher or lower the 100%. They only way to get around this currently is to use a plugin in PRoCon that does all the switching for you so that the server shows up normal during the round, but switches the setting at the end. Then it switches back to 100% so the server shows up in searches.

So after using the As Val for a bit I decided I'm done with it. It's not the gun it was in BF3. It has insanely high 1st shot recoil, feels uncomfortable at any range.

By the way, I spent the last few days playing only with the As Val. In CQC is, IMHO, the best weapon. The reload is very fast, so I can shoot, reload, shoot without being killed (the common problem with the FAMAS).

The problem is the Engineer class. In CQC I like having the med bag and some grenade launchers of the Assault. While, when I'm playing as an Engineer, I prefer medium-distance weapons (e.g. Ace 52) so I can kill people and attack vehicles in larger maps (e.g. Silk Road).

Yeah I seen that. I'm not playing until it is back up. I have a service star and rank up soon and don't want to get gypped. I got Medal in BF3
during one of there upgrades and I got the medal a couple days later, but no points for it. That shit is to hard for me to come by ain't gonna chance it.
Wish Toshiba would come out with a Mantle driver for their APU's. They take months to even give you new drivers for those processors and they just released one, which didn't have Mantle.
I just played a round of TDM on BF3 with the Val. That SOB is awesome in BF3.
