OFFICIAL Battlefield 4 (Discussion)

I tried Domination…meh. Hardly much different than TDM and just a bunch of Assaults and snipers and lots of shotguns. I'm just not twitchy enough anymore for infantry-only play plus the hitbox lameness and other issues really make it more difficult to enjoy in this game.

Except you get flag points. I do better on TDM and Domination as far as my K/D goes then I do on Conquest. Kind of goes along with the bad eyesight theory. Those are close quarter maps and a lot easier for me to see the enemy. Plus a lot of hip firing.

Yeah but I barely got near any flags it seems even though they are all relatively close by. I don't know; would help my infantry skills if I could get some good sights and such for guns I actually want to use like the MP7 and not the MX4 (even got Coyote for that thing plus many more). AK-12 too; like half unlocked already from BPs.

Edit: lol damnit I just opened todays' Bronze and there's a vertical grip…for the MX4.

If you want sights for those guns (the CQ monsters) then Domination is perfect. Most of those guns grreat for CQ are good from the hip. So playing a small map is at your advantage, play aggressively and just round corners and hip fire people down. I've made it my goal to at least get a red Dot for most guns incase I ever want to use them, the MP7, Famas, AS Val, and numerous other high fire rate guns, this is the exact method I used.

I tried a Hardcore Domination match yesterday for the first time. I was looking to unlock further sniper rifles and my first round was:

Yeah I have 1 more kill for a service start with the MX4 and I'm done. About to let the PDW's go and stick with assault rifles and carbines.

Good advise. If you know some one is around a corner to and you have a full clip prefire while rounding it.

That map is perfect for stinger kills. That is where I have got at least half of mine. Javelin does OK too, I just don't use it much.
I like to hang out around G with the Stinger. That way I can defend G and drop anything over 3 bases.
