At the same time you cant just shit on the members that LIKE to upload avi's or sigs like that - If its within the forum rules then who are YOU to tell them to take it off because you dont like seeing those kind of pictures?

Like i said in my previous posts - If you dont like seeing the avatars or sigs that people upload there is an OPTION that allows you to turn it off so you dont see it. Its not just there just so W1zzard can simply say that his forum has it but he gives you a choice - IF YOU DONT LIKE SEEING IMAGES LIKE THAT THEN TURN IT OFF IN THE USER CP. Dont go telling people to leave because their avi or sig is not suitable for your eyes. We are all registered to the same forum and we should all learn to get along with each other not go asking people to leave because of their avi/sig.

In any case its quite rich someone with 253 posts and no thanks asking ME to leave because you dont like seeing my avi of a beautiful woman.

What exactly is your contribution to this forum that denotes dictates that i should leave because you dislike my female avatars? I doubt it would your browsing life any better

This is why I hate avatars btw. A lot of them are really stupid. It is better now though, there are few pornographic avatars left.

Freedom I have to agree with W1Z decision, I look on TPU at work and at home with my step daughter and while it is not nudity it really makes people think "What is he looking at" and I feel sometimes I have to hide the page when co-workers or my family look at the PC. If I wanted to see stuff like that I would look at an import car forum.

No disrespect to you but I think avatars should be funny or electronic/PC related here and I also believe w1z did the right this with the animated avatars as well

On a more serious note, I'm of the "don't really care" disposition, except in rare cases where I get somewhat curious. No avatar I've ever seen here has caused any butthurt to me in any way, so for me there is no problem whatsoever. I'm an oldfag when it comes to internet communication, so even if this forum was without any avatars or signatures, and no fancy graphics, I'd still visit. It's the contents that count, and the people who post, not their 100x100 px representations or cheap plugs/hollow creeds at the end of their posts.

I feel any pics of girls in avatars is childish and churlish and massively pointless on a tech site, they do not offend me but they dont impress me either hence they(avatars) should add to a post in some way ,Mine is an Ant for a reason for eg, and its clear to find and not offensive in any way.

BTW, IMHO, if Wizzard does not like something on HIS web site, whether it is something he did, his staff did, or a forum member did, it is fully within his right to remove it. Honestly, I would not allow avatars of a "sexual" nature. This is not a porn site.

While most people really just don't care about this sort of thing (me included), it's still easy to see why W1zzard would remove those pictures and I just don't see the point in having half naked women as an avi on this forum, I mean, why? Why do you use pictures of half naked women you have no connection with as an avi? Now I know an anime girl is not at all relevant to this thread but I use that avi on every forum as I am a big Otaku (anime nerd), it says something about me and it is easy to find.

We recently had an internal discussion on avatars getting too suggestive and slightly adjusted the rules. So we are now cracking down a bit harder on those avatars. Just crop your avatar a bit more and it should be fine.

i agree with using the ban hammer on "too suggestive" avatar photos... (also i don't think the person using that "too suggestive" photo took it)
