strange ... so the key activate the DL but the DL self activated just now and i never received or entered a key in Origin or in mail ... im actually DL ing it to give it a go ... but from what i have seen i think i will only do a run... who know maybe i will end in awe and pre order it ... but i don't have high expectations ...

for me this a refreshing change of pace for fps games, i really like the traditional shooter aspect to it and adding mechs through the fight is pretty neat as well. The different jumps and dashs take a bit of getting used to, but overall i really like this game and i intend on purchasing it as close to launch as possible

oh well after the training course, i don't technically know ... the beta end effectively the 19th at 6pm but i don't feel it ... matchmaking 1st row i see a bunch of lv14 to 20 and some lv6 to 10 for a lv1 starter i don't think it is a matchmaking...

i do love the free wallrunning overall manoeuvrability and gosh i love the Titan grab and put in cockpit animation xD but ... the rest ... i think its the "only MP" aspect who rebuke me ... well the 19th is my free day so i guess i might give it more chance tonight till the end of beta

Aside from the issues BECAUSE IT'S A BETA.....yes I know! It's got reasonable game play, but a bit frantic. There's no variation like BF4. You have to keep jumping and moving around otherwise you're dead. It's like a mental game of BF4-Operation Locker all the time!

Graphics are last gen too, can run it on 3 screens, insane settings, 60fps with a single 7950. When are we going to get decent PC graphics that will actually challenge 2 year old GPUs?

You ever play UT99/2K3/2K4/3 OR QUAKE1-3 for that matter?

This game is unplayable for me. It just crashed about 5 minutes in. I have no overclock on my hardware. I tried to repair the install, but didn't really help.

I don't get the minimap on my screen, anyone know what that could be?

Edit, I found it's when you use multimonitor, there's no hud, lots of other info missing too, like remaining bullets, time to Titan etc.

who care .... he was meaning about gameplay and '"keep moving or you're dead"...

lucky for me... this game is smooth even on high settings and the graphic are great... as i have a R9 270 it would pain me to see a game that require at minimum a 7950 CFX to run decently ...

if you wan that ... try Crysis 3 or a heavily modded Skyrim launch Unigine Heaven/Valley with all settings to the max ... (oh wait no... not Crysis 3 ... even my 270 run it smooth in high and ultra high settings)

I love these games, but I do not like TitanFail.

The game is meh. It could have been much much better.
the graphics are sub-par.
The wall running would be much better if you can run vertically on a wall.

Don't get me started on the kicking. Kick > full clip

With all the hype this game received, the game definitely was a massive let down.
I'd rather play UT99

The fast-paced Attrition matches was a huge nostalgic breather for me. Titanfall definitely is a good throwback to the competitive days of UT99 and Quake 3 Arena.

If it only had a proper health and shield mechanic like the aforementioned games, but at least being in a Titan does extend your life a bit.

Played it last night. It seems like a fun game. The pace is way faster then BF4. I think titans are a little weak. Me and another dood took one out with rocket launches and the titan could do nothing. Why? Because no destruction. This 100+ ton robot couldn't punch through the sheetrock to kill us. Have a titan chasing you? Just jump in any doorway and you are safe. A freaking mud hut can withstand any attacks this uber robot can dish out.

Graphics are nice, Sound is good. Aiming is so much easier in this compared to BF4. Hitboxes are huge.

How is aiming easier? Its the same thing. Pretty much like every FPS released in the last 5 years. Right click, look and shoot. It might be a bit faster through bring it up to your face.

Yea, it's pretty easy to take cover from titans, but titans have the ability not to stand by the door as well. I have to say I enjoy the game a lot. The graphics while not being as good as BF4 are still way better than I expected, but I like the source engine. It plays buttery smooth on my GTX680 in Nvidia Surround on my 3x 1680x1050 monitors. So far the Match making part works pretty well.

i just noticed something ... the jump pack make me think of the "3D maneuver gear" in the manga/anime "Shingeki No Kyiojin" (Attack on Titan) ... i smell a "inspiration"

also ... the robot are named Titan .... wooooooo? Titanfall is a steal!!!
BTW: attack on Titan can translate as Titanfall (or end as ...) pfff now im smiling, i love that manga/anime :roll:

i give some credit to the dev of Titanfall for making me think of that

What drivers are you running on your 680?

For the time ive played the game, I do like it, but really really hate the bots. They are all really dumb, they just stand there like a damn bullet sponge. I find I kill more bots then actual players. Wish they would change it so that its 16 vs 16 real players. Not sure why they can't.

UT3 with texture updates, as Greiver was saying, UT and this game are twitch FPS meaning youll lose your head if you dont keep moving, even bot matches can be a PITA

332.21, I've not used the newest driver, but I plan to update tonight. But yea I hope they open it up to 16 vs 16 on release and yea the bots do suck, but this beta is more for server load from what I can tell than AI. This beta build is probably months old.

Aiming is easier, because hit boxes are huge. Because I can run and gun unlike any game lately and still get headshots...and I am not the only one saying this. Or did you literally think I was talking about the mechanics involved in aiming down the site?

Thats what EA said about BF4. But even at launch that game was a shit show.

True, and I'm still on the fence if I want to pay $59.99 for a game with out single player.. I want to buy it, but I'll wait until it has at least 16vs16 or it drops to $49.99.

ohhhh the pain it's cheaper than the retail box in pre order for me ... i guess i try the Raptr way if i can earn a digital copy of Titanfall with my gaming time points ... it might be worth it ...

i have the same concern as you about paying for a MP only game of this kind

most of the time game do a $ to chf direct convert not taking the change in account :roll:
