I am planning to buy one of these- ATi Radeon R7 250x, Radeon HD 7770 OC edition.
I have a limited budget so I can't opt for a better card and there's a problem.
I have a local 550W PSU which doesn't have the 75W 6-pin power connector required for the above cards.
Now buying a new PSU will affect my budget and I won't be able to buy one of those cards.
So, I was thinking if there were any alternative methods for powering the graphics card?
I mean any external power supply [ after learning about the volts, amps, watts and those 6-pins].
Or a connector, USB to 6-pin.. i.e powering the card via the backside usb ports.
Or any alternative methods apart from getting a new PSU?
I know this sounds too crazy but weird doubts come in your mind when resources are limited and you want the best out of it!
I need one of those graphics card to run on my pc since those are the entry level gaming cards that fit in my budget.
If there are no alternatives for this power supply problem then i will have to go for radeon hd 7750.
