Qestion about 750D

Just got my new corsair 750D, however the weird thing is compare to my old enermax case, the side panel (non window side) on 750D is a little bit puffy in the middle area. When I push the center part in, it bounce right back at me. Is this normal ?

it is a stamped and bent section of steel, there can be some irregularity in its shaping. Normal? Not typically, but I could see it easily happening.

Could try, I mean the bottom line is that you are an unsatisfied customer. I would assume they could send out another panel easy enough, but I digress as I do not work there.

I wouldn't worry about it unless its an obvious eye-sore. Don't bother RMA'ing it, you might get something worse. Sometimes cases get damaged in shipping.

That is definitely the chance Vario. I don't recall much deformation with my 750, but there is always the chance of a worse panel arriving.

Personally I wouldn't be bothered.

Hell maybe you can cram more wires in there... every case I have owned seems to deform when I jam all my wiring behind the back panel

Yes, mine is the same, and it's normal. These cases feel a bit flimsier than some older Corsair cases, stamped from thinner steel. Also some flex is to be expected with cases this large with flat side panels. Try to arrange your hidden cables so they lay flat against back of the the motherboard tray to minimize bulging. I also felt like the drive cages were flimsy, and they arrived slightly out-of-square. Not really a problem unless you're hanging both of them from the ODD cage (as I did to fit a radiator in the bottom), then they swing around too much. I made a bracket to attach the bottom cage to an unused motherboard standoff, and now it doesn't swing around like a pendulum.

I know, it ain't pretty, I'll make a custom bracket later. Aside from these little quirks, I really like this case, it's the perfect size for my system, and it looks a whole lot better than my 400R. Next step is some lighting, then maybe a custom loop with a 360 and a 240 rad.

Huh, that's good to know. I have been considering a 750D utilizing a set up similar to yours and this may make me hesitate a bit longer. Kudos.
